Chicago Food & Bev Summer Immersion (Kraft Heinz, RXBAR, & Levy Restaurants)
APPLICATIONS WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, APRIL 15TH AND CLOSE ON MONDAY, MAY 6TH!
Want to experience Chicago? Spend two days in Chicago visiting Food & Bev companies Kraft Heinz, RXBAR, and Levy Restaurants!
This Immersion experience allows students to meet with various staff at each location, learn about different internships/jobs/graduate programs within different industries, and put your knowledge to the test in interactive activities. This is a great experience for students wanting to learn about what it's like to work in Food & Bev & live in the Chicago area!
Previous attendees have said that - "I loved getting to know more about these amazing companies in such an intimate setting!" "Looking forward to the next one!" "Super informative experience that allowed me to get a glimpse of real world work experiences. It was fun getting to see the city on the way!"
Applications will open on Monday, April 15th and close on Monday, May 6th. Priority will be given to students that submit their application early. Don't wait - slots fill quickly & the application may close early! Please note that by applying to this Immersion you are agreeing to attend should you be selected.

AGENDA FOR THE TRIP
Monday, May 20th
- 12:30 PM CST: Students arrive at Kraft Heinz. Lunch will be provided.
- 3:00 PM CST: Kraft Heinz visit will end. You are free to explore the city!
Tuesday, May 21st
- 8:30 AM CST: Meet at RXBAR.
- 12:00 PM CST: Meet with Levy Restaurants. Lunch will be provided.
- 3:00 PM CST: The Immersion is now over. You are now free to explore the city.

Students must be able to attend the full program in Chicago to participate. University Career Center staffwill be along with you on the Immersion to guide you through the days, and more details will be provided to the selected participants. Transportation is NOT provided for students for this event. Students will be responsible for transportation, some meals & lodging. If the expense is a concern, please contact uccemp@umich.edu to discuss other options! Students are advised to bring 3 copies of their updated resume to the event.
