Chicago Summer Finance Immersion (BP, Belvedere Trading, & Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago)

Want to experience Chicago? Spend two days in Chicago visiting BP, Belvedere Trading, and the Chicago Federal Reserve!
This Immersion experience allows students to meet with various staff at each location, learn about different internships/jobs/graduate programs within different industries, and put your knowledge to the test in interactive activities. This is a great experience for students wanting to learn about what it's like to work in Finance & live in the Chicago area!
Previous attendees have said that - "I loved getting to know more about these amazing companies in such an intimate setting!" "Looking forward to the next one!" "Super informative experience that allowed me to get a glimpse of real world work experiences. It was fun getting to see the city on the way!"
Applications will open on Monday, April 15th and closeon Friday, April 26th. Priority will be given to students that submit their application early. Don't wait - slots fill quickly & the application may close early! Please note that by applying to this Immersion you are agreeing to attend should you be selected.

AGENDA FOR THE TRIP
Monday, May 20th
- 1:00 PM CST: Students arrive at Chicago Federal Reserve. All students are responsible for getting to each location on their own.
- 4:00 PM CST: Visit will end. You are free to explore the city!
Tuesday, May 21st
- 8:30 AM CST: Students meet at BP.
- 11:00 AM CST: Visit with BP ends. Students then have a short break untilthe next visit.
- 12:00 PM CST: Visit with Belvedere Trading. Lunch will be provided.
- 3:00 PM CST: The Immersion is now over. You are now free to explore the city!

Studentswill be notified if they have been selected or have been placed on the waitlist by Monday, April 29th. Students must be able to attend the full program in Chicago to participate. University Career Center staff will be along with you on the Immersion to guide you through the days, and more details will be provided to the selected participants. Transportation is NOT provided for students for this event. Students will be responsible for transportation, some meals & lodging. If the expense is a concern, please contact uccemp@umich.edu to discuss other options! Students are advised to bring 3 copies of their updated resume to the event.
