Japanese and Chinese Aesthetics and Woodblock Printing
Explore the Multiple Impressions exhibition and gain an appreciation for the highly refined sense of beauty in Japanese and Chinese art. We will consider some central themes of Buddhist and Shinto culture as students learn basic woodblock printmaking and create a set of hand-printed notecards.
