Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience: Theory & Methods

Developmental cognitive neuroscience is a scientific discipline that investigates the relationship between children's cognitive development and brain development. This seminar will provide an overview of the basic facts, theory, and methods of studying child brain development. The session will conclude with a visit of the fNIRS neuroimaging laboratory.
This session is particularly suited for students who are being introduced to research with children and adolescents during their summer work or internship experience, but is open to anyone who is interested in learning more.

Lunch will be provided.
