NYC Fashion Immersion (Michael Kors, Hudson's Bay Company, PVH Corp and Talbots Design Studio)
APPLICATIONS WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, JUNE 17TH, AND CLOSE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 28TH!
Want to experience NYC? Spend 2 days in NYC visiting Fashion companies: Michael Kors, Hudson's Bay Company[Saks Fifth Avenue/Lord & Taylor], PVH Corp [Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein] and Talbots Design Studio!
This Immersion experience allows students to meet with various staff at each location, learn about different internships and jobs withinfashion/business/creative industry, and put your knowledge to the test in interactive activities. This is a great experience for students wanting to learn about what it's like to work in the Fashion industry in NYC!
Previous attendees have said that - "I loved getting to know more about these amazing companies in such an intimate setting!" "Looking forward to thenext one!" "Super informative experience that allowed me to get a glimpseof real-world work experiences. It was fun getting to see the city on theway!"
Applications will open on Monday, June 17th and close on Friday, June 28th. Priority will be given to students that submit their application early. Don't wait - slots fill quickly & the application may close early! Please note that by applying to this Immersion you are agreeing to attend should you be selected.

Tuesday, August 6th
- 8:30 AM: Meet at Talbots Design Studio
-11:00 AM: Lunch break as we walk over to our next site
- 12:30 PM: Meet at Hudson's Bay Company [Saks Fifth Avenue/Lord & Taylor]
- 3:30 PM: Hudson's Bay Company visit is complete. You are free to explore the city!
Wednesday, August 7th
- 9:00 AM: Meet at Michael Kors
- 11:30 AM: Lunch break as we walk over to our next site
- 12:30 PM: Meet at PVH Corp [Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein]
-3:30 PM: The immersion is now over

Students must be able to attend the full program in NYC to participate. University Career Center staff will be along with you on the Immersion to guide you through the days, and more details will be provided to the selected participants. Transportation is NOT provided for students for this event. Students will be responsible for transportation, meals & lodging. If the expense is a concern, please contact eschalle@umich.edu to discuss other options! Students are advised to bring 3 copies of their updated resume to the event.
