Science Café: What is Life? Is synthetic life possible?

With Diarmaid O'Foighil, U-M Museum of Zoology and Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.

Join us for a conversation about the complex systems and processes necessary to life. Can scientists make wholly synthetic life forms?

Join us for hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 and a brief presentation at 6:00pm, followed by discussion. Participants must be 21 to purchase alcoholic beverages. Everyone is welcome and invited to purchase additional food and beverages.
