University Symphony Orchestra

The University Symphony Orchestra, led by its music director Kenneth Kiesler, offers an array of French music spanning three centuries. The concert features two symphonies: Mozart’s Paris Symphony, and Berlioz’ brilliant musical description of his obsessive romantic infatuation, Symphonie Fantastique. Renowned tubist and faculty member, Fritz Kaenzig, appears as soloist in the virtuosic Concertino for Tuba and Orchestra by Eugène Bozza.
