Brown University 1-Year Master of Public Affairs Information Session
Join professor Carrie Nordlund for pizza and learn about the one-year Master of Public Affairs program, which prepares students to be public policy leaders, analysts and advocates in government, nonprofit. and private sectors. Students gain problem-solving, quantitative, communication, and managerial skills.
At a time of heightened concern about economic development, poverty, social equity, education, security and the environment, the MPA program gives students the tools to develop effective, evidence-based solutions. Features of the program:
• Build skills in data analysis, program evaluation, presentation
• Action-learning policy consultancy and career coaching
• 1-week global policy immersion abroad
• Accelerated June 2020-May 2021 schedule
