Detroit Fall Break Immersion: Detroit Free Press and Insight Global!
APPLICATIONS WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH AND CLOSE ONSUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH!
Want to experience Detroit? Spend one day in Detroit visiting top companies Detroit Free Press and Insight Global!
This Immersion experience allows students to meet with various staff at each location, learn about different internships/jobs/graduate programs within different industries, and put your knowledge to the test in interactive activities. This is a great experience for students wanting to learn about what it's like to work & live in the Detroit area. Be a part of downtown Detroit's revival!
Previous attendees have said that - "I loved getting to know more about these amazing companies in such an intimate setting!" "Looking forward to the next one!" "Super informative experience that allowed me to get a glimpse of real world work experiences. It was fun getting to see the city on the way!"
Applications will open on Monday, September 16th and close on Sunday, September 29th. Priority will be given to students that submit their application early. Don't wait - slots fill quickly & the application may close early! Please note that by applying to this Immersion you are agreeing to attend should you be selected.

AGENDA FOR THE TRIP
Tuesday, October 15th
- 9:30 AM: Students arrive at Detroit Free Press.
- 1:00 PM: Students arrive at Insight Global (Lunch will be provided).
- 3:00 PM: Insight Global visit will end. Students will be transported back to campus.

Students must be able to attend the full program in Detroitto participate. University Career Center staff will be along with you on the Immersion to guide you through the day, and more details will be provided to the selected participants. Transportation and food ARE provided for students for this event. Students are also advised to bring 3 copies of their updated resume to the event.
