The international CoreTrustSeal Board (https://www.coretrustseal.org/) recently approved the certification of ICPSR, part of the Institute for Social Research, as a core certified repository.
CoreTrustSeal assesses data repositories with the objective of making repository practices and procedures transparent, and assuring that valuable digital assets are protected. CoreTrustSeal certification is the latest of several certifications ICPSR has received.
