Dance Around the World with GRIN: Swing Dance Edition
Join GRIN and Swing Ann Arbor for our Dance Around the World Series! This time we will be learning swing dance, thanks to our collaborators, Swing Ann Arbor! The lesson is free and open to beginners!
Swing dancing originated in the United States, and it is often danced to Jazz music which has origins in New Orleans.
Dance Lesson: 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Open Dancing (a chance to practice your moves): 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Footwear recommendations: Avoid high heels (not stable) and hefty boots (too much tread makes dancing harder)
Registration is required at myumi.ch/zxnkO.
