Speaker's Biography:
Nicolás is currently an executive manager at Accenture within the consulting workforce. Having graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, he started in 1997 with Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture). His expertise and deep knowledge skills include the areas in Mobility Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture as well as Development, Execution and Operations Architecture. During his twelve year tenure, Nicolás has had the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industry verticals spanning from Government to Communication and High Tech, as well as Financial Services, Resources and the Products sector. Nicolás has also had the opportunity to work in large scale international projects in Southeast Asia, Central America, and Europe, which has given him the opportunity to work with people of various cultural and professional backgrounds.
Nicolás has also served as a people’s advocate with the recruiting and development of minority groups within Accenture by participating in national events for Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA). As a member of the Accenture Hispanic American Interest Group (HAIG), he has been involved in various activities across several metro cities in the US.
