The North Campus Deans are happy to announce the first annual all-North-Campus student design competition, “42 Hours of Re_Creativity,” sponsored by ArtsEngine's student group, Idea. Teams must have students (graduate or undergraduate) from at least three of the four North Campus units, and a faculty advisor.

Team registration goes from now through October 21; the build begins at 8:00 pm on Friday, November 4 and concludes at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 6. Register here: http://michiganidea.wordpress.com/42hours/

Judging, an awards ceremony, and a public reception will follow. Prizes are $1,000, $500, and $250.

There will be two mass meetings to learn how you can get involved in 42 Hours of Re-Creativity and Idea:

Thursday, October 6, 7:00 -W 8:00 pm, 1180 Duderstadt Center.
