Discovery Day is a pioneering educational outreach program designed to encourage undergraduate freshmen from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds to learnmore about the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and opportunities available for students.

The event will provide:
An insider’s view of the NYFed’s core mission and responsibilities
Exposure to leaders at the Bank through a panel discussion and networking
A tool-kit to best position yourself to secure a future internship

Qualified participants:
Are undergraduate Freshman students pursing a Bachelor's degree graduating betweenDecember 2022 and June 2023
Have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Are from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds
Have an interest in banking, finance, economics, monetary policy, public service and mission-basedwork
Students interested in studying Economics, Finance/Business, Technology, Computer Science, Math, Public Policy or other related fields are encouraged to apply
Have an interest in learning about student programs at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York
