Betsy Richards and Matthew Davis bring a blend of traditional folk music from around the world in a dynamic duo consisting of fiddle, banjo, and other string instruments. Their influences range from Swedish polskas, to Irish jigs and reels– all through the lens of American old-time and bluegrass. Having grown up as friends in the Midwest, Richards and Davis have since lived in many places and traveled the country, allowing different folk traditions to shape their playing. Now, the two reside in Southeast Michigan and enjoy a reunion of their different musical experiences in this duo project.
