Greek Life Program Series - History of Greek Life
Did you know that the first fraternity was founded in 1776? Or that Michigan Greek Life was established in 1845? How about that Lucy Liu, Martin Luther King, Jr. Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Neil Armstrong all joined fraternities and sororities? Greek Life, both nationally and here at Michigan has a significant history. During History of Greek Life, you will have the opportunity to explore how fraternities and sororities evolved. Participants will get a glimpse into milestones of the movement and get to see where it is today. Moreover, participants will get a chance to learn more about the Greek community here at U of M.
