Virtual Art Studio: Nature Palette
Follow along with Stamps School of Art and Design Student Emily Considine using collected plant matter (leaves, grass, flowers, weeds) from around your home or neighborhood to form patterns and images on paper. These will be glued down, covered in a paper towel or newspaper, and then pressed to dry.
Supplies Needed
Assorted plant matter (can be gathered anywhere outside) One blank sheet of any kind of paper At least one sheet of newspaper or paper towel White glue Alternatively, participants can make simple glue with flour and water or flour and water and salt: https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Glue. At least one of the following in order to apply glue: 1 in. paintbrush, toothpicks, popsicle stick A heavy book or box for pressing Scissors (optional)
