comics for DC Comics, Vertigo and Marvel Comics ranging from Batman, Superman and
X-Men to King James based on superstar Lebron James. His work has been covered by
U.S.A. Today, Architecture Magazine, Vibe, The Washington Times, The Source and
Black Entertainment Television.
He is the author of “How To Draw Noir Comics” in which he talks about his style and
process of working with shadow and light. The book led to Martinbrough’s most recent
comics work, the just completed “Luke Cage: Noir” miniseries, which he pencilled and
inked for Marvel Comics.
He is the founder of Verge Entertainment a film and video production company, and
producer of ExpoWeekly.com, an entertainment website using fictional characters to
comment on real-world celebrities, politics, and pop culture
