Datathons are a competition for data-driven, analytically minded students. This competition challenges students from the world's best universities to tackle real-world social challenges in topics like urban traffic, renewable energy, education, and more - all while competing to win $25,000 in cash prizes and interviews for internship and full-time positions at Citadel. The winning team of the competition will also receive the chance to represent their school against other top-tier universities inthe Data Open Championship, a grand finale Datathon event in the Spring of 2021, and win a $100,000 cash prize.

The Summer Invitational Datathon is hosted by Citadel LLC & Citadel Securities in partnership with Correlation One. Participants will be able to work remotely on their submissions during the week of July 13, on their own schedule. The winners will be announced on Monday, July 20th in the Awards Ceremony Webinar.
