Kirsten Kortebein is a photographer and freelance photojournalist. Originally from the U.S., she splits time between Latin America and Europe where she produces independent work, and covers sports, culture and politics.
She’s currently located in Lyon, France, where she’s recently launched an entrepreneurial venture called Vert Run. The startup company provides a training platform for trail and ultra running.
Kirsten graduated in 2012 with a degree in German. She has been published in GQ Magazine, The Guardian, The New York Times, BBC, The Washington Post, NPR, and more.
