Community Leader and Curator, Malika Pryor
With nearly 15 years of experience in the non-profit and legal sectors, Malika is a leader and servant whose goal is to uplift the communities and stories that emphasize the best in us, Malika currently serves as the Senior Director of Education Programs and Outreach for the Detroit Historical Society, and as an independent curator, she continues to elevate narratives that inspire and compel. Before then, she practiced entertainment and family law in Atlanta for several years before returning to her cultural arts roots and hometown of Detroit in 2010, taking up a post as Director of Education and Programs at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Join us for a conversation with Malika Pryor, a 2000 graduate in African American Studies and Organizational Studies, about compelling and aspirational careers that impact communities and institutions both stateside and abroad.
