Non-Profit Founder and Diabetes Support Advocate, Miles Jackson

If so, join us for this Alum Connection on Friday, September 25th as the Hub hosts Miles Jackson, an LSA alum who has leveraged his passion for cultural diplomacy, community service, and diabetes awareness into a career that impacts people across borders. Sign up today to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn from and connect with an alum with tremendous experience in founding and directing a non-profit as well as merging his own personal and professional identity as a career path.

About Miles:

In 2010, Miles co-founded Cuba Skate, an organization that supports the evolution of skateboarding in Cuba, helps to build up local communities and form international connections, and encourages youth through sport. Committed to supporting the diabetic community, Miles also works as a consultant and behavioral coach for Stanford University’s Diabetes team and is a board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

You should attend this workshop if you are:
A liberal arts and/or sciences student
Looking for insights and tips on how to pursue your personal passion as a career
Interested in working in the non-profit and/or consulting space
