Who is and isn’t in our audiences? Why are certain topics uncomfortable? How can our artforms be channeled towards starting difficult conversations? This 90-minute panel discussion features guests Carlos Simon (Composition), Rosy Simas (dance), and Anita Gonzalez (Theater). Through the experiences presented by the guests, attendees will leave equippedwith a foundational understanding of how to effectively share personal stories, as well as cultivate self-awareness for telling ones that are not their own. Learn how to diversify repertoire thoughtfully, and create brave spaces with your art.
