Pro Football Hall of Fame "Before the Snap" ft. Jen McCollum
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is proud to offer a brand-new series for learners in high school, college and beyond! “Before the Snap” gives an insight to professional careers in and around the NFL, while giving a live audience the opportunity to interact with an industry expert. On Friday, September 25th, 2020 at 12:00PM ET special guest Jen McCollum will be on hand to speak on their career, what they do in their current position and much more!!
Jen McCollum is the Sr. Director of Community Relations and Detroit Lions Charities, which means she oversees all revenue generating and grantmaking activities for the team’s charitable foundation, along with team, player and former player community engagement efforts. Prior to joining the Detroit Lions in 2018, Jen served as executive vice president of development and communications for Northern Virginia Family Service, a human service organization annually serving more than 40,000 individuals in the metropolitan DC area. With more than 15 yearsof fundraising and grantmaking experience, Jen has also held positions with organizations including the American Cancer Society, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia. She is a graduate of Michigan St. and Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a master’s degree in Philanthropic Studies, respectively.
We will be streaming the program LIVE on the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Facebook page and will take questions from students throughout the program. To participate, all you will need to do is:
