University of Michigan-US Capitol Police Information Session

The information session would be an overview of the United States Capitol Police - who we are and how we protect and serve the United States Congress and the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. The presentation will also contain information on how an applicant can successfully navigate the gauntlet phase of a law enforcement hiring process including our interview process, background investigation, polygraph, and psychological evaluation.

More about The United States Capitol Police (USCP): The USCP is located in Washington D.C., is a federal law enforcement agency that is currently seeking motivated and professional individuals for many Police Officer positions. We are still accepting applicationsand will continue to process them to the furthest extent possible while keeping everyone's health and safety in mind. As always, we are committed to finding the best-qualified applicants.

The USCP safeguards the Congress, its legislative process, Members of Congress, employees, visitors, and facilities to include the United States Capitol Building. We protect and secure Congress so it can fulfill its constitutional and legislativeresponsibilities in a safe, secure, and open environment, free from crime, disruption, and terrorism. Our officers protect the legislative process, protect democracy, and act on the world stage every day as a modelin security, urban crime prevention, dignitary protection, specialty response capabilities, and homeland security.
