At Two Sigma, our community of scientists, technologists and academics collaborate to solve some of the most challenging economic problems. We rely on the scientific method, rooted in hypothesis, analysis, and experimentation, to drive data-driven decisions, to manage risk, and to expand into new areas of focus. In this way, we create systematic tools and technologies to attemptto forecast the future of global markets.

New Seekers Summit is an opportunity for students of all backgrounds to explore life at Two Sigma. During this two-day virtual program, you will have the opportunity to delve into the world of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Quantitative Researchers through networking events, talks on the role of data in finance, engineering discussions, and seminars with Engineers and Researchers at Two Sigma. Our team will also provide academic and career counselling to help you plan your own future paths, wherever they may lead you.

Dates:
- Wednesday, November 11th - Thursday, November 12th
- 1:00 PM ET - 5:00PM ET both days

Requirements
- Currently attending a 4-year college/university and in your freshman or sophomore year of study OR enrolled in your first 3 years of a PhD program
- Interested in pursuing a degree in atechnical or quantitative discipline, like computer science, electricalengineering, mathematics, operations research, physics, or statistics
- No background in finance is required.

Ready to Apply?
If you would like to attend New Seekers Summit please submit a copy of your resume and a 300-500 word personal statement about your background and what you hope to learn from the Summit on our website. All applications should be submitted by November 2nd, 2020. We will notify you if your application has been accepted by November 4th, 2020.
