Dance for Democracy!

Webinar / Virtual Event

lick here.

Dance for Democracy will provide the Michigan Community an opportunity to gather on the eve of the 2020 General Election as the culmination of efforts associated with the Big Ten Voting Challenge as part of the Democracy & Debate Theme Semester. Designed for those who have already voted early and for those headed to the polls on November 3rd, Dance for Democracy will bring together students, and other members of the U-M community, for an evening of music and socially-distanced dancing with bands, DJs, PSAs and special guest appearances as we celebrate democratic engagement across the partisan divide. We’re all Wolverines on the (virtual) dance floor. Register. Vote. Dance.

Featured musicians:
Detroit-based percussionist and DJ Nova Zaii with Kultur Grenade Ann Arbor-based funk/rock band Kektus Ann Arbor-based funk band, Sabbatical Bob Detroit legend Inner City

UMMA's Vote2020 initiative is presented in connection with the U-M Democracy & Debate theme semester.
