The Global CO2 Initiative Undergraduate Association is hosting its first event as an introduction to the work done by personnel at the Global CO2 Initiative, UM's program for professors and graduate students to collaborate towards making carbon sequestration and utilization a mainstream global climate solution. At this event, students will hear from and talk with professors, graduate students, staff members, and industry professionals about their backgrounds and experiences working with the Global CO2 Initiative. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in conversations related to carbon removal, such as those involving technology, policy, and social justice. Above all, students will form connections with their peers, network with professionals at our institution, and develop an understanding of the kind of work we will do with our student group next semester.
