You have the skills and the ability, but you also happen to have a disability. During your job/internship search and on the job, you want your talents to shine through and the focus to be on all the things you CAN do. Advocacy is a part of professionalism and disclosing a disability in the workplace is one example of this. We will be focusing on how to disclose your disability or request accommodations in the workplace. This workshop will give you the opportunity to interactively practice your disclosure script with your peers, and advocate for yourself in workplace. This workshop is a collaboration between the University of Michigan-University Career Center and the Georgia Tech Career Center.
