FestiFools Event
Join us for this foolish family-fun event!
FestiFools will be held on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor, April 1st, 2012 (April Fools Day!) starting at 4pm, and FoolMoon--our newest outdoor public arts addition to Ann Arbor's Fool-oriented weekend--starts at dusk on Friday March 30th. Both events present larger-than-lifesize sculptural creations that dance, cavort, and interact with the crowd. FoolMoon features hundreds of community-made illuminated "lanterns" that will descend upon Washington Street for an evening of revelry, dancing, goodies and libations. FestiFools, now in its sixth year, features dozens of original University and community made giant "puppets" (all dancing to the backbeat of drum impressarios from the U-M student group GROOVE). The entire weekend is guaranteed to bring out your inner Fool!
