MACHINAL (French for mechanical, automatic, involuntary) is the story of a Young Woman whose entire life has been dictated to her. She follows the rituals that society expects of a woman, however resistant she may feel about them. She leads a life bereft of love, passion, and freedom...until an illicit affair inspires a fatal act that changes her stale, stifling life forever. With the use of 3D Projection Mapping, this production explores the relationship between movement and technology to physicalize the mechanical world the Young Woman inhabits.
