Making a book at the Women's Studio Workshop
Artistic Director Erin Zona shares the publishing process at the Women's Studio Workshop and a cross-section of books from their archive. She is joined by two artists who have made books at the Women's Studio, Toby Millman (Facts on the Ground) and Alison Rivett (Scientific Theories Once Widely Believed, Since Proven Wrong), who will share their bookmaking process from the artist's perspective, including concept development and how making one book is very different from making 50. You'll have an opportunity to ask questions! No registration required; join us with the Zoom link.

The Women's Studio Workshop, an artists' studio and residency founded in 1974, has produced over 200 artists' books using both traditional book arts – letterpress, etching, papermaking, screenprinting, intaglio – and experimental techniques.
