Daniel Jacobson, professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado at Boulder, will be visiting (virtually) on March 9 to give a lecture to Michigan Open Discourse. He will be exploring the ideas of "classical liberalism", and philosopher John Stuart Mill's theory of the "harm principle" as it relates to freedom of speech.
