Are you passionate about having meaningful impact on the worldaround you? Are you energized by being around other leaders? Do you have dreams for the campus organizations you lead and desire to learn how to make those dreams a reality?
In 2020, McKinsey put forth a public commitment to anti-racism and social justice. Drawing on our areas of core expertise, we’ve focused on building Black leadership within our organization and beyond, identifying solutions through data-based research and investing in social change within our wider community. While we know that we have a long way to go on our journey, we are proud to support the leaders,businesses and communities working for a more just and equitable society.As a part of this commitment, we are excited to share a new opportunity for undergraduate Black leaders – LAUNCH – a 2-day virtual leadership incubator where you can experience McKinsey’s problem solving methodology firsthand.
As part of this unique event, students will have the opportunity to:
Join consultants from the McKinsey Black Network who are excited to invest in your growth and development through a series of workshopsand sessions aimed to provide you with the resources you need to make lasting impact on your campus and community. You’ll bring your toughest problems, questions, concerns, and ideas for the campus organizations you lead. You’ll leave with fresh insight and valuable resources to help yousolve your most difficult challenges and expand your impact as a leader
Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes:
Identify asBlack or African American
Have an outstanding record of academic achievement and plan to graduate in 2022, 2023, or 2024 from a 4-year institution in the U.S.
Demonstrate strong campus involvement and leadership capabilities
Actively seek ways to maximize their own potential
Enjoy problem-solving and creative thinking
Thrive when working in teams
