What does it mean to be a sports town? There is more to it than simply having professional franchises in your city. Often questions around race, industry, city planning, and identity play a role in the development of sports in a city. Detroit is a great example of how sports can mirror society. The city’s quest to be a leading sports town has been a winding path full of great views and treacherous turns. Join us as we discuss Detroit as a sports town and what that means.
