Linda L Newman Common Read Project

The Linda L. Newman Common Read Project is an annual program through Michigan Housing Diversity and Inclusion in which students reflect upon, and create artistic expressions inspired by, a common read book or theme. This project reflects the vision of Linda L. Newman (Director of University Housing, 2009-2015) to create multicultural spaces on campus where community members can engage with the diverse ideas, perspectives, and stories of individuals and communities through participation in a variety of programs and activities.
This year's program will explore the theme of resilience amid uncertainty, conflict, and loss and is open to all UM community members.
