KPMG is excited to offer a NEW session that focuses onthe importance of diversity in the classroom! Join us for a discussion on the road to a PhD, and how a career path in public accounting will helpprepare you!
The PhD Project was founded upon the premise that advancements in workplace diversity, could be propelled forward by increasing the diversity of business school faculty. Today, The PhD Project’s expansive network of supporters, sponsors and universities helps Black/African-Americans, Latinx/Hispanic-American and Native Americans attain their business PhD and become the business professors who will mentor the next generation of leaders.
We have collaborated with The PhD Project to bringyou a panel of esteemed PhD professionals to discuss how and why they gotinto the profession! The panelists include:
• Kecia Williams Smith, Accounting – North Carolina A&T State University
• Syrena Shirley, Accounting – George Mason University
• Herrison Chicas, OrganizationalBehavior - University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
• Martin Dias,Information Systems - Northeastern University
