Stamps @ Home: Sustainability and Art & Design
Join us for a virtual celebration of Earth Day, as we host our next installment of Stamps @ Home: Sustainability and Art & Design. Here at Stamps, we believe in the value of creative practice as an engine for cultural and social change. That’s why a panel of alumni and students are convening to discuss responsible production, affordable clean creation, infrastructure and innovation in the industry, and overall sustainability and social responsibility in art and design.

Panelists include:
- Eric Benson (BFA ‘98), Associate Professor of Graphic Design, University of Illinois
- Fai Foen (BFA ‘04, M.L.Arch. ‘11), Director of Green Infrastructure, The Greening of Detroit
- Daisy Hall (BA ‘20), Stamps School & Program in the Environment Alumna
- Micaela McCabe (BA ‘13), Sr. Industrial Designer & Director of Social Responsibility, Leapfrog Brands

Current student and Stamps M-Bassador Sarah Pisarczyk (BFA ‘23) will join as the emcee and the event will be moderated by Professor Joseph E. Trumpey, Associate Professor of Art, Environment, and Natural Resources and Director, Sustainable Living Experience.

Stamps events are free and open to the public, and we are committed to making them accessible to all attendees. This event will be online using the Zoom platform with an auto-generated Live Transcript available. If you anticipate needing any additional accommodations to participate, please email Melissa Herter at at least one week in advance of the scheduled event so we can arrange for your accommodation or an effective alternative. After receiving your request, our team will follow up with you directly.
