SMBC Meet and Greet (Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking Advisory, Strategic Credit Products)

Event Description:
Our SMBC Meet and Greet Series is a uniqueopportunity to meet and interact with the various business areas that hire interns and analysts. This session will feature overviews of three business groups followed by a Q&A session.

Equity Capital Markets (ECM)

Our rapidly expanding Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team offers equity and equity-linked financing solutions to corporate and project finance clients in the U.S. The experienced team is committed to a track record of client-centric excellence; providing products such as initial public offerings (“IPO”), follow-on offerings (“FO”), convertible offerings,at-the-market offerings (“ATMs”) and share repurchase programs to ourclients. In addition to origination capabilities, the ECM team provides exceptional execution by our seasoned syndicate professionals.

Investment Banking Advisory (IBA)

Investment Banking Advisory advises SMBC and SMBC Nikko’s global clients, specializing in strategic and financial advisory, including M&A and capital markets, across multiple sectors such as Consumer & Retail, Power & Infrastructure, Industrials and TMT.

Strategic Credit Products (SCAD)

The Strategic Credit Products Department, Americas Division (SCAD) offers leveraged financed solutions to clientsincluding Private Equity firms related to large-cap and middle market LBOtransactions and to support Asset Manager clients including large BDCs and other institutional lenders involved in middle market leveraged finance transactions. The group arranges, structures, distributes and holds a portion of risk on all of its transactions. Products include leveraged and syndicated loans, fixed income, securitization and asset backed financings.
