Rachel Kim is a book agent at 3 Arts Entertainment, where she represents commercial and literary authors, journalists, and cultural critics. Previously she worked at the Asian American Writers Workshop and in editorial at Perseus. Current clients include Fatimah Asghar, Melissa Lozada-Oliva, Nana Nkweti, and Noah Hurowitz. In fiction, she is interested in novels that are any of the following: tightly written, character-driven, female-centric, blurring genre lines, innovative with form. She is especially drawn to stories that speak to full experiences of underrepresented, marginalized voices that aren’t limited to trauma and hardship. Anything with a humorous or satirical edge is always of interest. In nonfiction, she is interested in narrative journalism and voice-driven cultural criticism.

Richard Abate has been a literary agent for over fifteen years. In 2009 he joined 3 Arts Entertainment, a premier management company based in Los Angeles, to begin their literary division in New York. He has worked with top creative talent such as Tina Fey, Mindy Kaling, Issa Rae, B.J. Novak, Guillermo del Toro, Tim Kring, Howard Gordon, and others. Richard represents literary writers such as Sally Ball, Kate Christensen, Sana Krasikov, and Oscar Casares, and screenwriter-authors like Attica Locke, Amy Sohn, and Chuck Hogan. He also represents YA authors Daniel Kraus, Lisi Harrison, and Melissa De La Cruz. In nonfiction, he represents Pulitzer Prize winners Tamara Jones and Andrew Snyder and NYT bestselling authors like scientist Sharon Moalem, historian James Swanson, and journalist Mitchell Zuckoff, among others.
