Kendall Storey is Editor at Catapult and Soft Skull Press. Her recent successes include Anja Kampmann's High as the Waters Rise, a National Book Award finalist; Lauren Oyler's Fake Accounts, a national bestseller; and Semezdin Mehmedinović's My Heart, a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice. Her other authors with novels forthcoming include Sam Riviere, Jordan Castro, Meghan Gilliss, Brenda Lozano, and Chelsea Martin.

Previously she worked at Archipelago Books and was Co-Director of Elsewhere Editions, a nonprofit children's press devoted to picture books in translation. At Archipelago, she worked on international successes like Karl Ove Knausgaard's My Struggle series and reissues of Antonio Tabucchi, Julio Cortázar, and Magdalena Tulli. She publishes primarily literary fiction and strives to balance her list evenly between books in translation and books written originally in English.
