Join WISE in a fun, interactive workshop to figure out how to answer the question- so what is your thesis about?

We'll use journalism techniques to turn a complicated idea into a concise explanation that can be understood by lay audiences and other professionals outside your field of expertise. We'll then put it to the test with a version of the 3 Minute Thesis game called Thesis Half Life. Explain what you do in 6 minutes, 3 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds, and 15 seconds. We'll have a great time practicing your answer to the most common question a grad student gets.
