Alumni Relations Council - Volunteer Onboarding and Training: The Beginning of Lifelong Engagement

Join industry experts and fellow U-M staff members for this virtual ARC meeting to learn best practices for managing your volunteers and ways you can use the new Alumni Volunteer platform to easily share your volunteer opportunities with alumni.
Keynote speaker Tina Gourley, Director of Volunteer Onboarding and Training at Cornell University, will share proven practices in facilitating lifelong alumni engagement from her experiences managing volunteers through a comparable digital solution—CUVolunteer—and running the annual Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference (CALC).
Following the keynote, a panel of U-M staff will share alumni engagement wins and learnings utilizing the Alumni Volunteer platform during 2020-21.The cross-campus initiative connects alumni with volunteer opportunities hosted by University of Michigan affiliated groups that honor our alumni’s interdisciplinary expertise and general passion for volunteerism.
