You have the skills and the ability, but youalso happen to have a disability. During your job/internship search and on the job, you want your talents to shine through and the focus to be on all the things you CAN do. Advocacy is a part of professionalism and disclosing a disability in the workplace is one example of this. We will be focusing on how to disclose your disability or request accommodations in the workplace. This workshop will give you the opportunity to interactively practice your disclosure script with your peers, and advocate for yourself in the workplace. This program will be co-hosted virtually by the University Career Center- the University of Michigan and Georgia Tech Career Center - Georgia Institute of Technology
