This Study Group will be online
This Study Group will be online. In 2021, for the first time in Michigan history, an Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission is drawing the boundaries of Michigan’s state legislative and U.S. congressional districts with input from the public. Our speaker, Professor Kevin Deegan-Krause, from Voters Not Politicians will explain how the new redistricting process has worked, who has participated, where things stand right now, and what to expect when the Commission completes the new redistricting in January 2022. Kevin Deegan-Krause leads this course on Thursday September 23 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Preregistration is required via the OLLI website or phone. A link to access the study group will be e-mailed prior to the first session.
