This workshop, hosted by the LSA Opportunity Hub and the LSA Scholarship Office, will provide resources and strategies for securing financial support for an upcoming internship. Together, we’ll cover types of LSA and external funding options, funding application timelines, points of contact, and how to find them. Lastly, we’ll explore how to build a personalized budget for an upcoming internship — so you can confidently pursue these transformative work experiences without financial barriers.

You should attend this workshop if you are:
A liberal arts and/or sciences (LSA) student
Currently searching for a spring of summer internship, or have secured one
Interested in learning more about the University and College’s resources, including the LSA Internship Scholarship

What you’ll gain by attending:
Get a capture of the expenses that typically arise while completing a virtual or in-person internship
Emerge from the workshop with a framework for creating a personalized budget that you can adjust as your summer plans are finalized
