Writing a 'Legacy Letter'
This Study Group will be online
A legacy letter (also called an “ethical will”) is a written document that allows you to share your life lessons, express your values and transmit your blessings to future generations. This course includes discussion and weekly brief writing exercises; it offers advice, encouragement and a model structure to help you draft and complete your own legacy letter.
Study group leader Jay Sherwin has practiced law, given away money for five different charitable foundations and served as a hospital chaplain. He has taught this course online for more than a dozen OLLI programs nationwide.
This study group will meet on Thursdays for four weeks beginning on October 21. Preregistration is required via the OLLI website or phone. A link to access the study group will be e-mailed prior to the first session.
