Psychology Methods Hour: Methods and publishing: Editors answer questions about manuscript writing and the review process
Panelists: Drs. Robin Edelstein, John Jonides, Shinobu Kitayami, and Ethan Kross
Abstract:
There are persistent challenges in presenting novel or sophisticated methods in empirical research papers, and in responding to editors and reviewers about frequently misunderstood topics in data processing and analysis. Thus, a distinguished panel of Psychology’s own journal editors will provide insight into the editorial process and offer strategies for navigating peer review. Panelists will describe their editorial experiences, and then answer audience inquiries about methodological aspects of manuscript evaluation and publication decisions. Bring your pressing questions!
