Interested in studying abroad in Spain this winter? Join us to learn about the different programs CGIS is offering. We’ll talk about all of our programs, starting with English-taught courses and ending with Advanced Spanish. Feel free to attend either half of the event, or stay for the entire time to hear all of the options available to you in sunny Spain.

The deadlines for these programs are quickly approaching, so act fast if you are interested in applying! We will leave time for questions at the end of each portion of the session.

1:00-1:30: English-Taught Programs in Spain
International Business and Humanities in Barcelona [Deadline: Wednesday, Sept 1]
International Business and Economics in Barcelona [Deadline: Wednesday, Sept 1]
Policy, Law, and European Regional Autonomy in Bilbao [Deadline: Sept 15]

In the first half of the session, we’ll learn about the English-taught programs offered in Spain during the Winter 22 semester. We offer two programs in Barcelona, one focused on business and economics and the other in a broader range of humanities and social sciences. The program in Bilbao is international policy-focused in the beautiful Basque region of Spain.

1:30-2:00: Advanced Spanish Programs in Spain
Advanced Spanish in Madrid [Deadline: Friday, Sept 3]
Advanced Spanish in Granada [Deadline: Friday, Sept 3]

In this half of the session, we will discuss the similarities and differences between these two programs and the cities in which they are offered. These programs are advanced, so all courses are taught in Spanish and 5th semester proficiency (277+) is required to be taken before the start of Winter 22 semester to apply.
