ADMINISTRATIVE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Sentara Healthcare will be offering Administrative Fellowships, to start in June/July, 2022. These opportunities will allow the Administrative Fellows to contribute to strategic and key operational initiatives. Fellows rotate through several areas and expand their skills by developing new projects, working on teams or doing research. Monthly meetings with the CEO and COO are planned to discuss rotations and Fellows are invited to attend Board meetings. Candidates must have recently completed, or be on target to complete, a Master’s Degree (preferably with a concentration and/or experience in Healthcare Management or Business) from a leading graduate program.
ABOUT SENTARA HEALTHCARE:
Sentara Healthcare was founded in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1888 as the 25-bed Retreat for the Sick, beginning Sentara’s rich history in the Hampton Roads area. It is the largest integrated health care provider in Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina serving more than 2 million residents with approximately 30,000 employees. Sentara is a not-for-profit health care organization whose mission is to “improve health every day” by providing innovative services to treat illness and disease and to promote the improvement of personal health. Sentara is directed by a group of community leaders who serve in a volunteer capacity as the Board of Directors.
